Konstantinos Chatzimichail was born in 1977 in Alexandroupolis, Greece. He holds a BBA from Kingston University and specializes in Geopolitics, National Security and Strategy! He is a member of the Board of Advisors of the Business College of Athens and a member of the Bureau of the Hellenic Confederation of Commerce & Entrepreneurship while he has served as President of the Federation of Commerce & Entrepreneurship of Thrace and also as President of the Commercial Association of Alexandroupolis.As a third-generation trader, he ran the family enterprise INTERBAGNO, a construction company and an Armed Forces supplier, for more than two decades, until July 2024. He had been the Chairman of the BoD of the Alexandroupolis Port Authority, from October 2019 to November 2023, in a period that marked, inter alia, port’s transformation into a significant military logistics hub and vital strategic asset of international security.He is noted for organizing the first sea-rail intermodal transport in the modern history of the Greek port of Alexandroupolis and the first ever commercial rail transport abroad, to Constanta, Romania on July 23, 2020, bypassing the Straigths of Bosporus. Since then, his administration had activated rail & road corridors along the entire length of Eastern Europe, connecting the Aegean Sea with the Black Sea & the Baltic Sea areas. Those initiatives & movements led the European Union to create the new TEN-T Baltic-Black-Aegean Seas Corridor, 4 years later.He has also a number of innovations to demonstrate, such as the Open Mall project and the Urban Entrepreneurship city management model, while he has further developed the White Night urban festivals in Greece.In addition, he had been the author of the Economic Environment of Thrace annual reports, as well as the annual and quarterly reports on Turkish Road Arrivals in Greece and he specializes in studying the economic and political characteristics of Turkey.He has received several national & international honours and awards!
