I'm located in the Dividends Department and my work is primarily to support the officers that process dividend payments to clients. This requires checking their work, assisting with research, answering any questions they may have, escalating inquiries, etc. I communicate with our internal claims team on behalf of any processing officers to clarify complex files in order for them to accurate pay or claim counterparties. I communicate with our internal tax reporting team and assist the processing officer with answering inquiries about income processed and the reporting associated. I work closely with my team to respond to inquires from external and internal counterparts in a timely and efficient manner. I assist with preparing evidence for all stages of audit.

This requires analyzing the file, researching any breaks, and balancing the file prior to payment. I communicate with our internal claims team in order for them to accurate pay or claim counterparties. I communicate with our internal tax reporting team to ensure all income processed is correctly reported. I work closely with my team to respond to inquires from external and internal counterparts in a timely and efficient manner.

Throughout this time I started as a Summer Student position which entailed 4 months of full-time work per year, and then an additional 2-3 days a week for the remainder of the months during the last 2 years. I'm located in the Dividends Department and my work is primarily related to claims. I communicate with counterparties in order to claim or pay dividends. I also perform the necessary research to resolve any conflicting information between counterparts. We are also required to balance files in order to determine the remaining actions that need to be completed. I work closely with my team to respond to inquires from external counterparts in a timely and efficient manner. I've also assisted other teams within the larger asset servicing department, i.e. fixed income, reorganization.

I answer phone calls and book appointments, help clean up and sanitize, organize inventory, bookkeeping, and assist the hair stylists with tasks, i.e. washing hair, sweeping hair, colouring hair.

Started behind the cash register taking orders before learning how to make drinks and preparing the foods. Also assisted with cleaning the equipment and store front.
