I assist employees of the federal government in their pursuit of disability retirement benefits by communicating with them, their supervisor, and their agency HR department to gather the essential forms and information needed to send to the Office of Personnel Management for adjudication. My daily tasks and duties include, but are not limited to, emailing and calling clients, assembling disability retirement applications, and sorting through medical records.

Through my knowledge of the products and services offered by PNC, I am able to identify customer needs to help them improve their finances. Once a need is identified, I collaborate with my coworkers to ensure that need is not only met but exceeded. Being able to have the customer speak with a professional in the correct department is crucial to generating revenue and creating customer loyalty. By maintaining relationships with various people throughout the company and setting appointments, I am able to help transition the customer to the next phase of their financial journey.I am trained both on the teller side of branch operations as well as the platform side. By being cross-trained I can perform daily branch operations, such as handling deposits and withdrawals and cashing checks, and I can also open accounts, help people apply for credit cards, etcetera. Every day I am working to manage risk for our clients and the company.

Many of the tasks required of me as a busser are also required of servers. In addition to those tasks, I also greet customers at the door and seat them, take orders and serve customers food and beverages, and take to-go orders both on the phone and in person. My customer service, problem solving, teamwork, and multitasking skills are all being improved through this position.

As a busser, it is my responsibility to clean off and reset tables as customers leave the restaurant. I am also required to mop the floors and take out the trash after closing, along with other various end of the day clean up tasks. This position enhances my customer service and teamwork skills, while also adding to my ability to work in a much more fast-paced environment.

At Olive Garden I worked as a to go specialist, assisting in all aspects of the to go and catering orders placed at the restaurant. I took orders both in person and over the phone, packaged the orders once they were placed, and properly handled cash and credit card transactions once the orders were complete. Some administrative duties were required of me at the end of the day including, but not limited to, balancing cash drawers and preparing bank envelopes.

This position was mainly focused on instructing classes in a group fitness environment. Trainers also gained clients for one-on-one personal training sessions by promoting themselves and how each individual club member could improve their boxing technique and overall health by purchasing these sessions and training with them. TITLE also held events outside of the club at other nearby businesses in order to reach more people and show them how they can accomplish their health and fitness goals by becoming members.

I was selected to be a campus brand representative for Serengetee during the 2017 spring semester. I gained a lot of marketing and social media experience through this program via word of mouth and social media advertising for the company. Because it is a clothing company, I mainly represented the brand by wearing their products and posting about them on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. At the end of the term, I completed a "rep project" which can be found by following the link. For the project I chose to create a website that describes an organization that I believe would be a great new community partner for Serengetee.

This position allowed me to further my customer service experience that I have developed in my past jobs, while also gaining knowledge of an unfamiliar industry. I was able to work closely with customers and learn about another way to run a small business, giving me a new perspective and teaching me more about managing a business. Many of my current skills were improved and many new skills were learned through this opportunity.

I was required to take care of, harvest, and package vegetables for farmers markets, other businesses, and our own store. My time management and customer service skills were improved, as well as my overall work ethic. Being assigned to different tasks brought new challenges, which improved my ability to solve problems and gave me the opportunity to take leadership positions to enhance the efficiency of these projects.
