I learned the fundamentals of digital design and completed assignments focused on SystemVerilog and ModelSim. I also created multiple ASM charts describing a system’s logic, implemented strategies to mitigate metastability and practiced concise code methods. Lastly, I mastered the UART protocol, implemented a self checking serial loopback testbench, implemented FIFO data management, sPARITY phase and variable baud rate code.

I gathered, read and organized documentation surrounding RFIC development in an internal Confluence wiki.

Followed general electronics rack network and wiring architecture to install, wire, and label the main electronics rack of an Optical Ground Station (OGS). Used PADS software to update PCB designs for CubeSats and create full wiring documentation of the electronics rack. Aided in software development by applying python skills. For example, I processed files sent by CubeSats in orbit, unpacking the images and time details within, generating ephemeris based on the image's timestamp, and compiling the information into a spreadsheet. Lastly, I provided general IT work such as installing legacy software on computers (VB6 on Windows10), configuring IPs of devices to connect to a network switch used for the OGS, and taking inventory of parts in labs.
