Supervisor, Registered Plans
Current• Oversees the daily activities within a team of Registered plans Administrators • Monitors daily work of Registered plans Administrators for quality • Monitors Client Solutions tasks ensuring issues are prioritized and resolved effectively • Maintains Registered plans procedures manuals • Collaborates with peers and employees and other department heads and administrators to identify and implement processing and procedural improvements • Assesses training needs within the team and collaborate with the Manager, Corporate Training to design and deliver employee training • Communicates strategic objectives to team, and implement processes and procedures designed to meet identified objectives • Coaches and develops Registered plans Administrators/Associates • Provides employees with regular informal and formal performance feedback • Responsible for staff scheduling such as work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations. • Processes cheques, stocks, and funds in and out of the system. • Regularly follows up and thoroughly reconciles all Registered plans. • Ensures departmental procedures are complied with. • Develops and maintains strong and productive relationships with internal and external clients • Works collaboratively with team keeping team leaders/supervisors/managers informed of developments. • Performs any other duties as required and/or assigned.
