– Reported to the Senior Manager of Information Security. Managed the company's AS/400 and voice applications.– Served as the company’s JD Edwards IBM iSeries (AS/400) Security Officer. Led the assessment of risks and protected the company from day-to-day threats, vulnerabilities, and noncompliance. Achieved no significant security breaches during 10 years in this role.– Performed daily, weekly, and monthly AS/400 backups. Maintained tape schedule / rotation for SOX compliance. Managed off-site storage of backups. Created, managed, and deleted AS/400-JDE user profiles.– In charge of High Availability / Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) of the AS/400 (iTera software). Monitored iTera AS/400 backup software across three partitions. Looked for issues with audits, out-of-sync conditions, communications problems etc. Made adjustments to make sure system was in a “Role Swap Ready” condition at all times.– Assisted with the implementation of the “Critical System Availability and Redundancy” project by moving the production systems into the QTS data center. Migrated DR to the Newnan data center.– Researched, recommended, and implemented a division-wide phone system. Administered the Verizon Wireless account.– Provided help desk services related to AS/400 and network passwords, the ShoreTel phone system, wireless phones and devices, and other programs and systems. Facilitated ShoreTel system training for staff.– Administered Newnan, Carthage, and AACOA ShoreTel phone system. Installed the ShoreTel PBX phone system at the Carthage plant as well as the Newnan plant and Atlanta data center after the AACOA acquisition.– Ported service from AT&T to NuLink in Newnan and saved $9,540 annually. – Moved cell phones and data devices to Verizon’s “More Everything” plan and saved $10,800 annually.– Switched cellular providers from AT&T to Verizon after the AACOA acquisition and saved $9,216 annually.– Renegotiated a telephone contract for the Carthage plant and saved $8,400 annually.
