Profile bio

About Karan Dalal

I am a Mechanical Engineer! I grew up watching my father work endless hours on a Mechanical Engineering startup based in India. Even after working endless hours, one thing was always common: a smile on his face, the smile you get when you achieve something. Over the years, I realized this is something I want to do with my life. I want to make a positive impact on people's lives by means of Engineering. I still remember the day I created my first 3D CAD model in 2014 and it almost felt like magic. From that day onwards, I decided to pursue my career in integrating extensive computer knowledge with real-life Mechanical problems and improvising the existing solutions. With the goal in mind, I joined a BAJA SAE team where we designed and built an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) and successfully competed not just in India but in the USA as well. This passion has led me to pursue graduate studies in Mechanical Engineering at Clemson and this is where I discovered my true potential in Design and Manufacturing. So if you are looking for a goal-oriented team player in Design and Manufacturing industry, please give my application a thought. There may be instances where I might not have the necessary skills but I am confident that my adaptive and dedicated nature will not disappoint you.I am primarily looking for Full-time roles in Product Engineering, Manufacturing and Additive Manufacturing.

Listed skills include Computer Aided Design, Product Development, Finite Element Analysis, Microsoft Office, and 27 others.
