Manage all social media channels and web content creation for Congressman Pete King. Create unique social media strategies to assist the Congressman in reaching diverse audiences throughout his Congressional District. Through strategic target marketing on Facebook, the Congressman received his largest margin of victory in a Presidential election year with 63% in 2016. Devised Facebook advertising campaign which grew his following from 27,ooo to 45,ooo & increased average daily reach from 5,000 to 15,000 in less than two years. Congressman King’s Facebook page was recognized by Congressional Republicans as receiving the third most engagement in 2016. Accumulated 30,000 Twitter & 1,500 Instagram followers by utilizing engaging content and smart hashtag implementation strategies. Developed an e-newsletter campaign to maintain relationships with key contributors. Create website content around the Congressman’s campaign messaging.

I created The New York Rangers Blog on my own using Blogspot back in 2007 as a way to offer Rangers fans an alternative to the mundane beat writers. It has grown from a couple of hundred visitors the first few months to close to 2 million page impressions last spring. I was recruited to join Bloguin 2010. Created a social media campaign to vote Sean Avery into the 2011 NHL All Star Game that generated 172,869 votes,15th among NHL forwards. Used my online presence, including working directly with the Rangers and Wild, to raise $7,000 for Defending the Blueline in memory of Derek Boogaard through the creation and sale of Boogaard Memorial T-shirts. Developed a social media campaign to create and deliver the infamous Madison Square Garden “Can You Hear Us” chant at Bruce Boudreau during the 2011 playoffs. Through my interaction on social networking platforms I’ve turned my blog’s game notes into a gamely meetup for hundreds of Rangers fans who come together and discuss the game in real time.  Through interactions with Rangers fans on Twitter I’ve attracted almost 11,500 followers. While on Facebook I’ve generated over 3,000 likes.

 Designed and maintained the Town’s website and responded to all incoming e-mails. Created printed materials, including mailings, newsletter articles and press releases, announcing various Town issues and events. Promote Town events and issues to media outlets including: Newsday, New York Times, NBC-TV, News12 Long Island, Fox5, WPIX and local weekly newspapers & radio stations. Created numerous Town wide public relations campaigns and initiatives for protecting open space, park enhancement, blood drives, community forums & 9/11 relief funds. Communicate directly with town residents on various issues, including hamlet plans, taxes, park improvements and traffic concerns. Set up press conferences and other publicity events.
