As the manager of the Engaged Leadership Academy, I spearheaded a two-day course that empowered leaders in pathology to engage colleagues, administrators, and advocacy groups effectively. My comprehensive oversight—from curriculum development to logistical coordination—resulted in consistently high ratings (4.8/5 average from 2021-2024) and a remarkable 94% net promoter score. By crafting an enriching experience for attendees, I ensured the program advanced both professional growth and patient care.In addition, I managed the Professional and Community Engagement Committee (PCEC), overseeing all patient-related communications between pathologists and their audiences. My responsibilities encompassed budgeting, travel arrangements, hybrid meeting facilitation, and targeted communications. These efforts strengthened connections within the pathology community and supported meaningful patient interactions.I also led the Wellness Project Team (WPT). My coordination of virtual meetings, conference presentations, a survey and to be published article on wellness within pathology, podcasts, and web resources enabled pathologists to address burnout and prioritize self-care. Through these efforts, I contributed to a healthier and more resilient professional community.I take pride in my ability to manage diverse responsibilities with precision, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence.
