Supervising Fixed Assets and Inventory Accounting for a group of Five companies (Stevin Rock LLC, RAK Rock LLC, RAK Nor LLC, RAK Lab LLC, Arabian Explosives LLC) which include • Recording Addition, Transfer and Disposal of Fixed Assets in the ERP.• Monitoring & keeping record of all Capital projects (Work in Progress), Capitalization of the work completed projects after getting completion certificate.• Calculate depreciation for all fixed assets. Review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation.• Prepare Cost Benefit analysis for the new capital purchases.• Prepare audit schedules related to fixed assets and represent the company during any audits by a Government/ External Auditors that involve fixed assets.• Prepare monthly Fixed Asset vs. General Ledger reconciliations.• Participate in fixed asset verification and tagging process.• Track company expenditures for fixed assets in comparison to the capital budget and management authorizations.• Investigate the potential obsolescence of fixed assets.• Conduct periodic impairment reviews for intangible assets. • Prepare Equipment cost report on monthly basis • Calculation of Spares Stock on month end basis, Passing Journals for stock differences between GL and Inventory report

• Accounts Receivable – Recognition of revenue, communicate with Customers for Payment collection, Recording receipts, Reconciliation of AR sub ledger, Assist with monthly AR ageing reports• Accounts payable – Collect & verify Supplier invoices for approval, Reconciliation with supplier statements for payments, work with internal partners and suppliers to resolve the invoice/payment issue timely, AP to GL reconciliations, Month end closing activities• General ledger – Journal entries, Analyzing various GL’s such as Prepaid, Accrued and Deferred expenses, Preparation of monthly management reports, Assisting in month end activities• Fixed Assets - Analysis of Capital expenditure, preparing CAPEX reports, providing up to date fixed asset register, Depreciation calculation, preparation of FA budgets, Fixed asset verification every year.• VAT filing – Collecting data and filing VAT return monthly. • My current role also involves working for RAK Lab (Subsidiary of RAK Rock LLC) in preparing monthly financial statements, Budgeting, Cash Flow Statement, Filing of VAT returns

• Handling end to end Accounting activities of 50 International Retail stores such as H&M, Harvey Nicholas, Debenhams, Star Bucks, and American Eagle etc. • Sales, Cash Management & Bank reconciliation • Vouchers( Watania, KNPC & Gift voucher) reconciliation • Float amount- Permanent, Temporary & Petty cash reconciliation • Gift Card reconciliation • Verifying the accuracy of all sub ledgers and posting into GL on timely manner• Responsible for maintaining the accounts receivable aging for Alshaya global• End to end Accounts receivable activities of for period and month close.• Preparing training documents and conducted various training sessions to new joiners.• Support financial statement audits• Posting Cash receipts on daily basis • Respond to customer inquiries• Research, verify and analyze returns, proof of delivery, shortages and allowances

• Responsible for credit collections on all accounts by contacting the customer by phone, e-mail and written correspondence.• Collection of TDS certificates, C-Forms and other Tax forms from Customers• Letter of Credit- End to end process till collection of Payment- Verification of L/C Draft, Preparation of L/C documents • Bank Guarantee- Obtaining draft, Vetting Guarantee text and Submission of Bank guarantee to customer • Cash application in SAP-ERP• Perform Account Reconciliation with Customer Books of Accounts on quarterly basis• Resolving customer enquiries and Queries on payments and C-Forms in a timely manner• Raising Proforma Invoice, Commercial Invoice, Debit Notes and Credit Notes • Maintaining PDC, NEFT/RTGS and Retention tracker as on date• Worked closely with sales department and process orders and send Invoices to customers

• Ensure compliance of purchase policy and other procedural requirement.• Ensure compliance of statutory matters and other finance related issues related to proposal.• Check comparative statement relating to commercial terms offered by prospective vendors and their price so as to ensure appropriate tender priorities are assigned. • Ensure compliance of work policy and other procedural requirement in works proposal.• Checking of documents for labour license, PF, service tax code and VAT.• Checking estimate as per CPWD handbook
