Hello, I am Keegan Ryan, and I am a student at Clemson University. I am currently completing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and minoring in Business Administration. I have experience with many coding languages, including Python, C++, C#, C, Java, and JavaScript. This degree has allowed me to develop a unique skillset that blends software development with business knowledge and applications. These skills pair well with my background in the hospitality industry, contributing to my proficiency in handling client interaction. I have successfully ran a small scale car detailing company, and I personally managed all accounting records. This allowed me to perform data analyses to discover ways to limit costs and improve my bottom line. I also have a background in the hospitality industry, involving over six years of restaurant experience. I worked for four years in a busy, fast-paced restaurant which challenged me to develop strong multi-taking abilities, resilience, and of course, great customer service. Being the face of a restaurant, I natural developed great communication and people skills over the years. I spent my last three years of restaurant experience in an upscale, fine-dining establishment where I utilized my positive demeanor and strong customer service skills to charm guests and provide one-of-a-kind customer experiences. I also use my knowledge and expertise to advise and upsell guest on expensive cocktails and entrees, boosting revenues for the organization.Working in these environments has invoked the development of many personal attributes, including professionalism, attention to detail, and adaptability, all of which are necessary in the rugged world of restaurant business. My experiences have made me a well rounded candidate for a variety of positions. I am seeking a full-time opportunity for a Business Analyst role, where I can utilize my technical education, alongside my business knowledge, to bridge the gap between project stakeholders and the development team. I love learning, and I am excited for any new learning opportunities that come my way.
