Started as a CAD drawer, mostly Detaildesign, for duplication of the Schiphol railway connection in the direction of Amsterdam as well as in the direction of Leiden. After 3 years I have moved from CAD designer to civil engineering in particular civil calculations of the railwaytunnel. Simultaneously I was involved with the predesign of Amsterdam Cental Station to upgrade the entrance and to threading the tunnel of the North - South metroline.Subsequently I have carried out prelimenary design for the HSL-Zuid (high speed line) from Amsterdam to the Dutch border in the South, near Breda. At Breda I extended my knowledge of design with prestressed concrete and be trusted with calculationprograms with infinite elements (Scia Engineer). On top of that I extend my knowledge with features from the High Speed Rail.In contrast to prelimenary design I returned after a couple of years to the HSL-Zuid organisation for quality assurance, deviationmanagement and procesmanagement. Basically for the part of the HSL-Zuid in between Rotterdam and the Groene Hart tunnel.Currently I'am leading several civil studies about Light Rail: such as the RijnGouwelijn Oost between Gouda and Leiden and HOV om de Zuid in between Utrecht Central Station and the University in the municipality of Utrecht.Preliminary Design for increasing railwaycapacity around Utrecht called VleuGel. Here I face the first contact with Design and Construct Contracts in the designstage.Accompanying, responsability and controls for the recalculation of spans (mostly viaducts) for highways and secundary roads for Rijkswaterstaat.From 2015 I support the geotechnical department within Movares and improved my geotechnical experience. I have a good knowledge about the calculations of Sheet Piles, Settlement, Foundation and Stability. Together with a good knowledge about civil engineering and the common interfaces, the result is an extended integral advice.
