About Kees Vringer

Kees leidt (wetenschappelijke) onderzoeksprojecten en doet ook zelf onderzoek naar gedragsgerelateerde beleidsvraagstukken, met een focus op de effectiviteit van energie- en milieubeleid (energietransitie, circulaire economie). Zo voert hij gecontroleerde gedragsexperimenten uit waarmee de effectiviteit van beleid getest kan worden. Maar hij houdt zich ook bezig met andere onderwerpen als de legitimiteit (draagvlak) van transitiebeleid of de bestuurskracht van gemeenten in de energietransitie. De resultaten van Kees zijn werk zijn terug te vinden in een lange lijst beleidsgerichte en wetenschappelijke publicaties. (zie http://vringer.nl/index.php/publicaties)In de overtuiging dat de wereld er beter van wordt past Kees zijn kennis ook toe in zijn dagelijkse leven. Zo heeft hij zijn huis geïsoleerd, heeft sinds 1997 zonnepanelen en fietst als dat even kan. Kees was tussen 1997 en 2014 bestuurslid van de lokale windmolencoöperatie UWind en is hij actief in het Duurzaamheidsfonds Houten.
