I am a Masters-prepared board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, who completed my studies at McNeese State University. I am a competent and compassionate nursing professional with 15 years of healthcare experience and have worked in a wide variety of clinical areas in both medical and psychiatric settings. Services provided include psychiatric diagnostic evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapy for children, adolescents, and adults with mental health disorders. With a focus on establishing a trusting therapeutic client-provider relationship while developing safe and effective evidence-based treatment plans that align with clients' personal goals. My goal is to provide culturally competent care in the treatment of a wide range of mental health and behavioral disorders that include mood and behavioral disorders, anxiety, panic disorder, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, Insomnia, and depression. I am an ardent believer in the use of therapy and lifestyle modifications in adjunct to medication management to improve an individual's mental health. In addition, client education is a priority to ensure that they understand their treatment plan and options.
