Currently, I am employed with the City of Boca-Raton as a Code Enforcement Officer II. Interacting with the citizens of Boca-Raton to ensure that City Ordinances are are complied with is my main function on a daily basis. I have completed 4 years of service and hold the certifications necessary to fully function at this position. Prior to this, I have thirty (30) years of active service with the Broward County Sheriffs Office. Twenty (20) years of service as a Lieutenant and Executive Lieutenant where I have experience in the following:• Proficiently overseeing the daily operations of over sixty (60) employees, including budget and spending analysis, staffing coordination, personnel commendations and discipline, employee evaluations, relationship cultivation with outside law enforcement agencies and the community, policy writing and revision, large scale project management, grievance reviews, operational plans development, facility inspections and employee investigations. • Extensive knowledge of the principles and techniques of management necessary to plan, develop, organize, direct, and evaluate programs. • Excellent written and communication skills needed to an effective leader.• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word and most office hardware / software systems.• And an overall passion for motivating and guiding staff to accomplish agency goals and objectives.In closing, I have worked with all levels of the organization in which I am able to analyze, identify, and problem solve which creates a better working environment for continuous agency improvement and development. My security experience is based on thirty years of on the job experience in law enforcement with continual educational courses keeping me up to date with our security issues of today. My managing experience is extensive in that I am very confident in my management skills and specializing in organization with integrity, fairness, and a willingness to meet every expectation.
