Provides leadership and strategic direction to the Office of the Registrar on operations, planning, budget and employee resourcing and engagement.

- Ensures the college has a single source of accurate data, collaborates closely with IT and IR in the development of reporting systems- Oversees development of audited data- Plays a lead role in the development of student systems and implementation for Strategic Enrollment Systems

- Serves as a systems/business analyst with the Office of the Registrar by designing, developing, implementing and or modifying, and maintaining systems to: improve production or work flow, automate processing, expand systems to serve new purposes, or as a result of legislated or mandated changes.- Acts as consultant for student information systems and records issues for all departments and campuses and as required designs, develops, implements and maintains Datatel screens, subroutines, virtual fields, and queries in order to better meet the needs of students, faculty, and staff.- Conduct regular reviews of existing computer system-related strategies, policies and procedures relating to the maintenance of student records, course scheduling and classroom space, examinations, calendars, and other functions of student administration such as registration, security access, communications and service. - Provide leadership in the identification of issues, in the formulation of proposals for new initiatives and improvement to existing ones, determination of the priority of system-related projects and in the adoption of new systems and strategies.- Provide the University Registrar with advice on and the evaluation of software required to support the mandate of the Registrar’s Office.

- Provide support to application users, respond to questions, concerns and solve hardware/software issues.- Planning, testing, implementation and maintenance of application software for individual departments across the city infrastructure.- Review, analyze and setup security for applications to ensure integrity of network data access.- Coding of database stored procedures using SQL to insert, update, and delete data for MSSQL Server and Oracle databases

- Analysis, planning, development and support of medium to large scale (n) Tier client/server e-commerce enabled applications used in Public, Educational and Private Industries.- Communication with, work with Clients in determining business requirements, scope and project objectives. Identification, isolation, research, resolution and follow-up on Problem Issues Identified by the customer.- Development of project estimates, schedules and resources to meet delivery and time requirements.- Planning, coding, testing, documentation and maintenance of application software using ASP.NET, VB.NET, VB 6.0, ASP, JavaScript, XML, HTML to produce dynamic server pages.- Programming of COM/DCOM middle tier components using Visual Basic.- Development of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) on Oracle 8i & 9i, SQL Server 7 & 2000 database systems. - Coding of complex database stored procedures using SQL/PLSQL to insert, update, and delete data for Oracle and MSSQL Server databases.- Design, Planning and development of secure administrative web backend systems with multi level security access permissions.
