• Evaluated Falcon’s then recently acquired two North Texas gas storage fields, Hill Lake and Worsham Steed, utilizing well logs for geologic mapping combined with a study of historical reservoir engineering data. Gaining a better geologic understanding of the two gas storage reservoirs and the volumetric dynamics involved, Falcon subsequently began the drilling of new wells which confirmed the presence of additional pore volume for planned HDMC gas storage. • Quantified additional oil reserves recoverable by gas storage cycling operations. Developed and implemented plans for subsequent wells in both fields to promote oil recovery through gas storage cycling as well as recovery by gas processing of natural gas liquids from the storage gas, btu-enhanced by contact with residual oil reserves. • Coordinated a field study by an engineering firm for the evaluation of a proposed EOR, “water flood” for additional oil recovery; the results of which initiated the drilling and completing of 4 wells as producing (“P”) wells for a proposed “5-spot” pilot water flood. Results were encouraging indicating a successful waterflood oil recovery to be possible. • Supervised operations of the two gas storage fields, “NorTex”, which included operational logistics involving personnel, equipment, drilling and completion of wells, optimization of individual storage and “P” wells as well as start-up of 2 NGL gas plants (Cryo). Coordinated field operations with Marketing and upper management staff for optimal field development and operation• Coordinated work with outside consultants for reservoir engineering, modeling, volumetric evaluation reports, and field work.
