Command Sergeant Major for an AH-64D Attack Battalion and multifunctional Aviation Task Force, forward deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom 12-13; responsible for the morale, health, welfare, standards, and professional development of over 450 officers, warrant officers, noncommissioned officers, and Soldiers. Coaches, teaches, and mentors seven Company Command Teams and advises the Battalion Commander on all matters pertaining to enlisted Soldiers. Manages the career development and assignments of all enlisted Soldiers in the Battalion. Monitors the Battalion's retention, command financial, public affairs, equal opportunity, environmental compliance, DFAC, and BOSS programs.

Served as the Battalion Command Sergeant Major of an aviation battalion that conducts Advanced Individual Training (AIT) and supports graduate level Aviation training for over 1,500 Soldiers and 650 International students annually. Supervised an administrative support company and a Military Police and Fire Fighter detachment. Responsible for the morale, welfare and combat readiness of over 1,300 Soldiers, civilians, and Initial Entry Trainees (IET) on a daily basis.

Served as the Battalion Sergeant Major of an aviation battalion responsible for supervision of 259 military and 60 Department of the Army civilians within five separate companies. Responsible for operations in support of graduate and undergraduate training of over 2,680 student aviators in the C12, CH-47D/F, Mi-17, and TH-67. Accountable for the training of the CH-47 and Mi-17 non-rated Aircraft Crewmember Standardization Instructor course, Mi-17 Flight Engineer Qualification Course, Maintenance Air Advisor Course. Provides oversight of the general maintenance, upkeep, and appearance of Cairns Army Airfield and Knox Army Heliport.

Managed the Maintenance Training Committee in accordance with Training and Doctrine Command policies and regulations assigning work to 30 military and civilian instructors and training developers. Directed standardization and operations including academics for the Aircraft Pneudraulic System Specialist Course and the Aviation Life Support Equipment Technician Course Programs of Instruction (POI). Trained 450 students annually while serving as the subject matter expert on all related subjects to include Unit Level Logistics System-Aviation Enhanced (ULLS-A(E)), The Army Maintenance Management System-Aviation (TAMMS-A), Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM), and Safety. Instrumental in the procurement, maintenance, and accountability of ground support equipment and training aids valued in excess of four million dollars. Flawlessly managed an annual budget of $416,000 dollars and Prescribed Load List (PLL) items.

Served as the Senior Aviation Maintenance Manager and Noncommissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) in the Support Operations section of the Aviation Support Battalion in the Combat Aviation Brigade (CAB). Provided Combat Service and Support (CSS) for the CAB consisting of 3800 Soldiers, 540 Ground vehicles, and 156 aircraft deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom 07-09. Supervised the Brigade mortuary affairs, medical operations, aviation maintenance, ground maintenance, fuel, ammunition, and transportation sections. Processed 1,336 critical aircraft parts directly contributing to the brigade’s aviation maintenance Non-Mission Capable Supply rate sustained at an unprecedented 2%; well below the Department of the Army standard of 10%. Demonstrated expert aviation logistical support and maintenance management resulting in the Brigade fully mission capable operational readiness rate being 6% higher than the Department of the Army standard of 80%. Interacted consistently with allied shops, production control operations, technical supply operations, and quality control operations to manage maintenance workflow and readiness reporting to predict trends for future combat operations.

Served as the First Sergeant for the Headquarter and Headquarters Company of an Assault Helicopter Battalion. Directly responsible for the accountability, training, morale, and welfare of over 90 Soldiers, Noncommissioned Officers (NCO), Officers, and their Family members. Supervised the Battalion Aid Station in support of 423 personnel. Provided guidance, counsel, and mentorship, to individual Soldiers. Monitored the unit's enlisted strength level and assigned incoming Soldiers to duty positions.

Served as the First Sergeant for a Aviation Support Company in a General Support Aviation Battalion (GSAB), responsible for the accountability, training, morale, and welfare of over 160 Soldiers, NCOs, and Officers. Provided Aviation support for the Battalion's eight Chinooks (CH-47D) and sixteen Blackhawks (UH-60). Responsible for the maintenance and accountability of 67 ground vehicles and equipment as well as over four million dollars of ground support equipment.

Served as the First Sergeant for Headquarters and Headquarters Company in a Combat Aviation Battalion, responsible for the accountability, training, morale, and welfare of over 129 Soldiers, NCOs, and Officers. Supervised operation of an installation dining facility and medical aid station in support of 800 personnel. Monitored the professional development of assigned NCOs, providing guidance and mentorship to individual Soldiers. Provided integration counseling and assigned incoming Soldiers to duty positions.

Served as the First Sergeant for a Command Aviation Company in a Command Aviation Battalion, responsible for the accountability, training, morale, and welfare of over 50 United States and Korean Augmentees to the United States (KATUSA) Soldiers. Supervised the accountability and readiness of equipment worth more than $60 million including eight UH-60 helicopters and associated support equipment. Instrumental in the Battalion's movement from the Republic of Korea to Fort Wainwright, Alaska.

Served as the Senior Aviation and Ground Maintenance NCO, providing maintenance and logistical support for the Brigade's 64 aircraft, and 450 tracked and wheeled vehicles. Monitored the aircraft and ground status daily, preparing status reports and repair recommendations. Worked with Unit Production NCOs and Motor NCOs on maintenance procedures and coordinated maintenance actions throughout 2nd Infantry Division, Eighth U.S. Army, and Aviation Maintenance Command.
