- Preform research and determine viability on innovative building types and techniques.- Specialty in housing affordability and first time home buyers, including advocacy on construction law and regulatory issues of the building industry.- Business development duties, including forming partnerships and expansion.- Responsible for managing, scheduling, and coordinating projects.

- Responsive and knowledgeable point of contact and advocate for RAB members as it relates to government affairs.- Responsible for lobbying and influencing decisions made by elected officials in government, both locally and at the state level as it relates to government affairs issues and the building industry.- Responsibilities also include managing all aspects concerning the community relations committee, the point person for media relations, public speaking, and written communications.- Participate in the Builders Association of Minnesota (BAM), including the Government Affairs, Public Policy, and PAC meetings, help define policy, and communicate back to the Members of possible impacts to the industry.- Other work includes: public relations and outreach, communications, building working relationships with partners, staff, and the Board, meetings and events, fundraising, directing, and coordinating.

- Responsible for coordinating, planning, and leading all Next Step construction projects in the Nassau, Bahamas and South Dakota region, including project and crew selection, estimating, budgeting, purchasing, and drawing plans.- Create and maintain positive long lasting relationships with community members.- Maintains a safe environment for volunteers and staff during construction phases.- Projects include major remodels, single family, and multi-family residences.- International contract position.
