Throughout my time at The Press, I closely followed high-profile court cases ranging from a woman who assaulted a falconer’s falcon with a beaded scarf to the murder of a father and son at the hands of a 15-year-old relative.

Was the sole reporter for a weekly newspaper in Mineral County, Montana — a community of approximately 4,500 people in an area dominated by federal and state owned land. Responsibilities included everything from generating content, to shooting photos and design work. Developing strong and reliable sources within the community, allowed me to emphasize local government and highlight exceptional human interest stories.
