The NRECA Spotlight on Excellence Awards program is a competition for rural electric communicators from across the country. In any given year, there will be 500-700 entries across 18 categories. We hire the judges and make sure each entry adheres to the guidelines of the competition, order the awards and oversee the awards celebration each year. We work closely with the Council of Rural Electric Communicators to oversee this program.
