Within 6 months became the sole Splunk administrative Subject Matter Expert for the Shipyard, significantly improving the organization’s environment and passing a Government audit with flying colors due to changes I implemented.Developed multiple software based solutions to address organizational deficiencies across departments by utilizing Splunk to its fullest potential. Including but not limited to: Custom REST API Endpoints, Automated Ticket Creation based on Splunk Alerts, Custom REACT Applications, and Environment-Wide Configuration Changes to Improve Resiliency.As a Splunk customer, identified desired areas/metrics that the Monitoring Console did not cover. Using a mix of custom code and Splunk’s developer tools I created solutions to provide our team with these metrics. I packaged one of these into the Index Health App, which has been published on Splunkbase.Lead administrator of a robust Splunk Enterprise environment including Splunk Enterprise Security.
