Graduate of Technological University Dublin having completed a degree in Computer Engineering and Mobile Systems Development. My 4th year project on Convolutional Neural Networks and Computer Vision won me the Intel Design Student of the Year Award 2019.Currently, I am working as an applications engineer at IMGS where I have been tasked with designing both backend and frontend systems for the civil service and some major multinational companies. In addition to this, I have successfully designed and built IMGS’s website which can be found at www.imgs.ie. Prior to my current role, I worked as the Chief IT Specialist at Lightning Technology where I designed, managed, and constructed a company management database web application. This application is currently live and aiding the company in their strive towards expansion, efficiency, and organisation.During the summer months of my 3rd year in college, I completed my work placement at Ash Technologies where I worked as an embedded systems programmer and designer.On the side, I have a distinction in Grade 5 drumming and have been teaching kids and teenagers since the age of 16. I have worked part time with 360 Entertainment to provide drumming entertainment at corporate functions and sporting events. The biggest being the Croke Park 1916 Remembrance Day in 2016 where I performed in front of an audience of 82,000 and broadcast nationwide to millions on TG4.
