My relationship with Keith began 6 years ago when he was the principal of Casa Grande High school in Arizona. Under Keith's guidance and leadership Casa Grande High School went from a failing to a highly performing school. He instituted a very effective professional learning community (PLC) system in which teachers collaborated with individual student data for the benefit of individual students. Keith and I worked together next to get my firm up and running. He was a powerful advocate for classroom observations with teacher and leader coaching. During our time together Keith tirelessly drove all through the state of Arizona coaching school leaders and teachers. Once my firm was up and running, Keith formed his own consulting firm The Greer Group, LLC. My latest activity with Keith was attending the National Alliance of Black School Educators (NABSE) conference in Ft. Worth Texas. Keith is a board member for the school administrators commission of NABSE. I was amazed at Keith's graceful leadership amongst his fellows.
