I have worked in the financial area in the Private Sector ( Broker for Pemberton Securities), in the Provincial Government ( Policy, Procedures and Systems Analyst and in a Crown Corporation ( bcIMC - Seniou=r Investment Accountant) for over thirty years. I continue ( as a self-directed client) to invest in my RRIF and TFSA. I am a former member of the IDA, past President and National Conference Organizer of the Financial Management Institute of Canada and have acted in many administrative roles not for profit societies such as the Victoria and District Cricket Association as well as a lay counsellor for people going through divorce and separation. At my three times Alma Mater, UBC, I was President of the Classics Club for a number of years. And Graduated with an Honours BA, MA and MBA between 1972 and 1981. At the same time I managed six landscaping teams as well as designing, bidding, HR etc.
