Part of the Technical Support Team assisting in delivering the Northern Ireland curriculum to pupils in primary and secondary education up to A-Level examinations.The Education and Training Inspectorate commented positively on three text books which I created for teaching Music at Key Stage 3 (11-14 years old), a project I shared exclusively with the Head of Music who supplied the original source material as multigeneration photocopies. To support the Habitat for Humanity trip to Romania where pupils were tasked with building affordable homes for local residents, I abseiled the 85m Obel Tower in Belfast to raise funds.I designed and built a portable device to demonstrate Louis De Broglie's Hypothesis. The Head of Physics, submitted the device details to the international IOP Science magazine Physics Education.I provided complementary support to teaching staff to facilitate the realisation of pupil projects. This included the operation and maintenance of a broad range of powered and non-powered tools and equipment as well as computer systems utilising various operating systems.Between 1995 and 2017, I managed three separate budgets continuously, at the request of the respective Heads of Subject. I consistently exceeded the expectations of the Subject Heads by delivering requested materials and resources for staff and pupils, under budget, every year.

Successfully bypassed the security hardware dongle to allow printing without compromising the integrity of the Civil Service. Dongles could be retained and disposed of securely.

Administrative duties involved the preparation and distribution of information on Child Benefit Claims to Administrative Officers (Clerks). Additional duties involved the preparation of documents for batch processing by Data Processing and answering telephone calls. Extended duties included the European Community (EC) Section and undertaking administrative duties on other sections. I designed and developed the first ever fully detailed Administrative Assistant Handbook which covered 100% of duties carried out by Admin staff from all three areas of the Child Benefit Office, Initial Claims, Claim Sections and EC Section. My work was recognised by senior staff and it was used successfully to train new staff as well as staff transferring from other offices or disciplines.
