Associate Professor Keith McNaught served in a range of leadership roles within St John of God Healthcare, from 2015 – 2019. In 2019, he returned to the University sector, as Associate Professor in the School of Medicine at Curtin University, specialising in Rural and Regional programs. He works from both the Curtin Perth and Curtin Kalgoorlie campuses.Keith began his distinguished teaching career in 1982, and over the years has taught at primary, secondary and tertiary levels. For several years, he coordinated the Mathematics Education programs with the University of Notre Dame’s School of Education, and his Doctorate is in Mathematics Education. From 2013, he was Executive Director of the Broome campus of Notre Dame, having enjoyed an 11-year connection with the campus. Keith has a passionate involvement in Indigenous Reconciliation and in the provision of outstanding educational programs for Aboriginal people, particularly those in rural and remote locations. Keith has been active in a range of programs and projects across Western Australia including Broome, Kalgoorlie, Mullewa, Geraldton and Bunbury.Keith is an active researcher and writer, with a strong publication history, with over 40 peer-reviewed publications. Keith is a Director with Values-Based Leadership West, which provides leadership development, training and coaching to senior leaders. He facilitates professional development training and is a management consultant in values-based discernment.
