 Responsible for detailed based financial credit reviews of high-risk clients and assess the potential credit risk as the unsecured lender in the relationship. Perform complete reviews of the Sales Organization with special attention regarding their merchant portfolio in respect to the business’ credit policy, risk monitoring capabilities, as well as the financial strength of the overall business.  Communicate and work with multiple channels including the Credit Underwriting, Credit Compliance, Card Brand Issuers, Acquiring Banks, as well as the Sales Organization in regards to problematic portfolios where a Sales Organization is deemed an Excessive Risk Organization based on various factors. Consult and work with the internal audit team in respect to their onsite audits of the Sales Organization and what gap’s they report on the organizations risk process. In addition, work with the ISO to implement policy and practices to remediate said gap’s reported by the internal audit team.  Negotiated and obtain financial collateral positions on problematic accounts and/or secure and exit the adversely rated accounts. Presented unfavorable rated credits and problematic accounts to Senior Vice President’s as well as the Management Credit Committee at monthly meetings.  Conducted Audits on the Independent Sales Organizations regarding their entire Risk Process.  Teach/Train new employees regarding bank and trade references and the importance they serve in assessing credit risk.
