This is a very demanding role where it pays to keep my skills sharp and self development and research are very important to me.Projects I have had a lead role in Include :Windows 7 imaging & PC migration, management 32 & 64bitWindows XP Imaging & managementWindows 7 Software testing top 50 business critical applicationsAutocad Upgrade & deployment 300+ CustomersSoftware acceptance & implementation process managementDesktop management Suite migration 5000+ PCs & 6 ServersRollout and upgrade of Antivirus productRollout of Laptop disk encryption softwareMain responsibilities include: • maintaining and upgrading Anti-Virus and Hard Disk Encryption solutions• Maintaining Asset Management, Remote Control & Software Delivery• OS imaging and deployment Windows XP & Win 7• Software packaging, distribution and documentation• Active Directory / Group policy• Hardware & Software Recommendations / support• Maintain the Windows Update Server for all Windows Clients XP & Win7• Providing 3rd line technical support for our more complicated issues.• Providing all manner of delivery solutions for 5000+ clients.• Working & Supporting Server 2003 & 2008, Citrix, VMware, Lotus Notes• Writing of Technical manuals and Knowledgebase articles
