Work in the Transportation Security Laboratory(TSL) at the FAA Technical Center in Egg Harbor Township, NJ testing security devices to potentially be used in airports.

• Support the FAA’s Piston Aviation Fuels Initiative, with the goal of replacing the current leaded fuel piston aircraft still use with an unleaded alternative• Use various laboratory equipment, including FTIR, GC/MS, Distillation columns, Stabinger Viscometers, and others to ascertain chemical properties of fuels and ensure that all fall within required specifications• Perform side research to observe any potential alterations in fuel properties as a fuel is stored improperly or for an extended period of time• Assist with engine testing by operating the engine with computer software and by recording the engine conditions at various times within each testing period

Perform tutoring services for high school and college students in a variety of subjects, including advanced math and science, Spanish, and other subjects.
