I currently work as a Psychological Therapist at Think Wellbeing in Halton (IAPT) as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Accredited Counsellor with the BACP. In addition to my therapeutic qualifications, I am trained in Eye Movement, Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). I also have a part-time private practice, KAS Therapies.Since qualifying as a Counsellor in 2009, I have predominantly worked with a broad range of adult mental health problems within NHS Primary Care, as well as a six month secondment to the Children and Young People's Eating Disorder Service in Knowsley. I have also taught as a Counselling Tutor, at Wirral Metropolitan College, delivering the Level 2 Counselling Skills Course and co-facilitating the Level 4 Diploma in Person Centred Counselling
