A Senior Logistics (Catering) Manager in the Royal Air Force, I joined the RAF in 2001 obtaining 23 years of experience. I am now responsible for managing Catering personnel and Military personnel across the Services. Working alongside a Civilian Contractor, I conduct regular Contact Monitoring, ensuring policies and contracted services are met. I spent 4 years as a Chef Instructor, obtaining a L5 Diploma in Education and Training. I taught and assessed Chefs throughout their NVQ journey. I am a D&I advisor and facilitator, teaching D&I policy to Military personnel ensuring mandated compliance is achieved. As a TRiM practitioner, I support personnel who need emotional wellbeing, by offering a safe place to talk and signposting opportunities. I spent 6 months managing a team of 20 personnel of mixed ranks from across the Service, whilst working as a Boarder Force Officer coving strike action at Manchester and Luton airport. During the Covid pandemic, I set up and managed a PCR Covid testing facility within the Military. I managed a team of 20 personnel from across the Service to deliver a safe testing facility, following government and military policies.
