Before stepping into my current role as VP of Administration, I held the position of Assistant Director of Operations at the Early Learning Resource Center #18 in Philadelphia County. In that capacity, I managed a substantial budget of 400 million dollars to provide subsidized childcare services. My responsibilities span across overseeing the Fiscal Billing Department, Call Center, Facilities, Maintenance, and IT Department.Since my promotion to VP of Administration, my role has evolved significantly, encompassing broader agency-wide duties. I now bear the responsibility of managing maintenance and procurement operations for seven diverse facilities scattered throughout Philadelphia. Among these are sizeable community centers, and the other three are Early Learning Resource Centers.In this elevated position, I directly oversee critical areas such as Maintenance, Property Development, Improvements, and Auto Fleets. Additionally, I actively cultivate business partnerships within the Philadelphia Community, seeking collaborations that mutually benefit our organization and the community.

Maintain the General Ledger records for the agency. Overseeing the Financial, Facilities and Administrative operation of the agency. Currently this includes two daycares site and the main office with a total operating budget of 4 millions and with contracts from the Department of Human Services, Health Department and the Department of Public Health in the Philadelphia area. Directly supervising one accountant and three clerical staff.Successfully insulted an accounting software system that allowed more than one person to input at the same. Relocated one the daycare to a larger location with more space for the children to enjoy the outside.Provided cost reduction methods that allow the agency to afford at 13,000 sq ft location for its central office operation from a 2,300 sq ft location.Implemented financial polices and procedures to turn an ailing agency of six digits losses to three years of consecutive profits.Restructured the company health insurance plan to include co-payments from employees, saving the company over $160,000.00 per year and still allowing affordable coverage to staff. Financially manage the Fundraising Event (SCANTASTIC) hosting over 2,500 individuals and sixty vendors.

Maintained the Financial records for the agency in a three-Controller atmosphere. Overseeing the fiscal responsibilities of four large Community Centers and several sites in the agency with a total operating budgets of 52 millions. Direct Supervision of a staff of five accountants and six clerical. Duties included the overseeing of the daily operation of the organization and coordinating with all department managers in the areas of staffing, office procedures, policies and monitoring fiscal budgets of 15 million. Monitoring encumbrance, supervising of the Finance Department, Administrative Department and the Providers Specialist Department. Supervised four Accountants, four clerical staff and one Providers Specialist.Successfully coordinated and preformed the year ending closing for both PCCR W/SW and PCCCR Central/South with temporary staff in 1997.Develop an enrollment tracking system to maximize the number of children provided daycare services during a fiscal year.Coordinated and assist with the acquisition of additional space and redesigning of the floor plans for office explanation.Successfully completed year-end closings for three consecutive years.
