Lead Systems Analyst on £50m+ development project converting Norwich Union (NU) direct book of business to it’s strategic DB2 based, web-enabled platform, based on CSC’s Exceed architecture. Key responsibilities and achievements:o Lead Analyst for the Motor line of business (largest project policy stream), producing business requirements documents, functional design documentation and detailed screen and program specifications documents. o Lead design prototyping sessions with the business to determine requirements, screen designs/functionality and navigational flows. o Coached and mentored NU and third party colleagues. The development team included in-house staff and CSC, on and off-shore teams (India) o Maintained excellent relationships with the business at all levels across multiple location who were unfamiliar with the new platformo Similarly strong relationships with all development staff, providing advice and QA support for both developers and testing teams. o Worked closely with the NU Architecture team to ensure system designs complied with the strategic systems architecture design o Constant liaison with concurrent workstreams (e.g. data conversion, Home and Travel products) to ensure a consistent design approach
