Working with a team of Risk Managers in the UK Life business, delivering risk based assurance and consultancy services to Senior Management and the Audit committee. I began my career at AXA Life in the Operational Risk function and was promoted in 2012 in recognition of my specialist expertise in relation to Operational Risk Capital, and again in June 2015 to Risk Business Partner. Following organisational changes I have taken on additional responsibilities, operating across the organisation to ensure that senior management have accurate, timely and intelligent risk information to support informed decision making. I maintain an active network of key contacts, both from support functions e.g. Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, Physical and IT Security, Data Protection and Compliance but also across the first line business functions such as Finance and Group Change. Key duties have included assisting in the identification of top down and bottom up risk registers and ensuring the ongoing monitoring, review and assessment of these, running risk workshops, producing detailed Management Information for various boards and committees, setting up and maintaining a register of operational losses and maintaining records of key operational issues identified across the business.
