KEITH WALKER DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHYDirector of Photography Keith Walker is a veteran DP/Camera Operator and co-owner of Media Process Group, a Chicago-based production company. Keith’s D.P. credits include over 75 stories shot for CBS’ “60 Minutes”, numerous stories for “48 Hours”, ESPN’s 30 for 30 series and many PBS documentaries including, HBO documentaries, “Mavis Staples” (2016), “A Tale of Two Schools” (featuring Morgan Freeman) and American Masters Series, “A Good Man – Bill T. Jones”.Walker was also one of the cameramen who shot the Academy Award nominated documentary, “Legacy”. In 1997 and 2013, Walker was awarded the Dupont/Columbia Journalism Award for a CBS’ “60 Minutes” story about the innovative educator, Marva Collins and outstanding coverage with Scott Pelley on the Newtown Tragedy.Dubbed, “Oprah’s favorite cameraman to work with” (her words) Keith has worked extensively with high-level talent, world leaders and everyday people throughout his career. Walker shot numerous commercials for then Presidential candidate, Barack Obama, including his Exploratory Committee Announcement and the biography video of Michelle Obama. He also accompanied Obama on a momentous trip to Africa in 2007 filming a documentary that he co-produced entitled, “Senator Obama Goes To Africa”.His international project locations include:Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Brazil, Burundi, Canada, Chad, D.R.
