Responsible for Public Events and building up the capacity of community groups to make positive change in their area. Also ensuring the local newsletter, Facebook Page and web site are interesting and current by working with other agencies and groups

Responsible for networking with local community groups and concerned residents, updating and helping to create web sites alongside professional web site builders. Build up support and knowledge around a significant historic building being brought back into public use in Madeley. Oversee the management of the Parish Environment Team and a Local Nature Reserve.

I sought to address issues of concern that residents or local councillors had raised in target areas. In particular I was responsible for actions alongside West Mercia Police and Wrekin Housing Trust in the Brookside area of South Telford. This involved co-ordinating multi agency action against anti social behaviour, on street drinking and drug taking and fly tipping on public land. I also supported the development of small scale social enterprise and community led positive action.
