I began my career as a barristers’ clerk over 27 years ago, in 1990, at Tindal Chambers in Chelmsford. Seven years of dedication and hard work later, I had built extensive knowledge which fed my ambition as well as my aptitude in a clerk’s role. It was then, in 1997, that I left to be one of the founders of Trinity Chambers, taking on the role of Chief Clerk. I was more than pleased to remain in Chelmsford, as I’m passionate about providing the highest quality legal assistance for anyone who may need it in and around my local area. It is with this in mind that I have become more active on LinkedIn, recognising it as an excellent platform on which to connect with other legal professionals, primarily solicitors, so that we may work alongside each other to achieve optimum results for those who need to take their case before a court.My role as Chief Clerk suits me well – this year marks 20 years since I first accepted it – as I pride myself on my approachable manner, large bank of knowledge and excellent communication style. My experience means I am an expert at handling a large workload, as well as managing a team and the career development of barristers within the chambers.
