Bluewave Education is the provider of Bluewave.SWIFT (BWS), the award winning software package which supports schools and individuals within education in managing their performance improvement processes - strategic planning, performance appraisal, continuing professional development and evidence based self-evaluation.We work with state and independent schools across the UK and internationally and we have engaged with education ministries in a number of countries.We also offer ongoing training and support to assist the implementation process and there is growing evidence that by adopting and embedding BWS schools are more likely to improve their monitoring and evaluation processes, their inspection grading and and ultimately they will save time & money and be better informed.

The Sustainable Schools Alliance is a network of organisations which aims to provide a clear and compelling offer of support to all schools in the country, and help them to put sustainability at the heart of what they do. Bluewave.SWIFT (Bluewave education) holds a seat on the Board and as MD I represent the company in that capacity.Through our work with SSA, we seek to assist schools in embedding sustainability in their curriculum and improvement practices. Our aim is to support schools in raising achievement by helping them to connect the curriculum with sustainability, making learning more enjoyable.

The Centre for Leadership Excellence Across the Region initiative has been developed with a working group brought together through the collaboration of the five Local Authorities across Humberside and York and the University of Hull. It has expanded to be of regional significance and includes York St John University, Carnegie Leaders in Learning Partnership Centre, Training Schools, the Urban Leadership Centre and the National College.The Centre for Leadership Excellence is being developed through the group to be a recognised centre for the development of leaders for Children’s and Young People’s Services working and enriching the links with National organisations.The Centre will have the confidence, aspiration and expertise to become a centre of excellence for the development of leaders across Children’s and Young People’s Services.
