Keith Barger has served as a National Principal-in-charge and as a Managing Director and CFIUS National Practice Leader with large multi-national accounting and advisory firms. Keith specializes in multi-disciplinary investigations, forensic accounting, physical security assessments, business analytics/business intelligence, and electronic data discovery in support of investigations and civil litigation and provides advisory services regarding investigative and technology-related matters. Keith also provides expert witness testimony when appropriate in connection with these services.Keith served as a Special Agent for the Department of Justice, and Department of Homeland Security and testified before congressional sub-committees related to National Security matters in South America, ASPAC, and domestically, working closely with the NSA. As the leader of a CFIUS practice, Keith served as the independent auditor and monitor for Fortune 50 companies ranging from manufacturing to technology to telecom; evaluating, assessing, and making recommendations concerning mergers and acquisitions, global contracting to include MSAs, MLAs, and related contracts. In addition, Keith evaluates supply chain effectiveness and controls, making recommendations and implementing improvements. Keith has evaluated and overseen the divestiture or merger and the integration or separation of various technologies and infrastructures both domestically and internationally and when appropriate served as the interim CIO and CRO.Keith has presented findings before the Congressional subcommittee on foreign investment in the U.S. concerning National Security issues related to telecom, technology, and manufacturing-related industries.Keith has extensive domestic and international experience in providing regulatory oversight, physical security, and investigative services in a variety of countries including Asia Pacific (most recently China), the European Union (EU), and South America. His expertise includes project management with the ability to organize and manage resources so that projects are completed within defined scope, time, and cost constraints. This most notably involves coordination among executive-level management, diverse business units, legal entities, and third-party outsourced business processes.
