I have dedicated my legal career to protecting and advancing workers' civil rights and human rights, especially when it comes to organizing a labor union as their exclusive bargaining representative. I also work with those unions to bargain collectively on behalf of employees with their employer for better wages and stronger benefits (e.g., pension, health and welfare, training, etc.), as well as dignity and justice in the workplace. I represent labor unions in every aspect of their work. This representation involves a wide range of laws, including but not limited to the National Labor Relations Act, Federal Service Labor-Management Relations Statute, Congressional Accountability Act, Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act, Taft-Hartley Act, Employee Retirement Income Security Act, Davis-Bacon Act, Service Contract Act, Fair Labor Standards Act and civil rights laws. I am admitted to practice in the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia. I represent unions and workers before the U.S. District Courts for the District of Maryland and District of Columbia, as well as several U.S. Court of Appeals (such as the Ninth Circuit and D.C. Circuit) and the Supreme Court. I also represent unions before the National Labor Relations Board, Federal Labor Relations Authority, and Office of Congressional Workplace Rights, along with the Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division and the Office of Labor-Management Standards. Finally, I represent unions in arbitrations with employers over disputes involving collective bargaining agreements. This Linkedin profile is not intended to advertise my services, solicit clients or provide legal advice.
