Formed in 2010 initially in Louisiana, DVM, LLC has since expanded. With over 28 years of experience in the auto liability industry, I am an IACP Certified Auto Appraiser and a recognized authority in the field of diminished value.Our history began with an observation that diminished value claims were rarely effectively pursued, and the methods used by insurance companies to evaluate losses were flawed. Since our inception, our goal has been to offer quality diminished value appraisals in a timely manner at an affordable price. By focusing on the Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi diminished value appraisal markets, and utilizing professionalism combined with standardized appraisal principles, we continue to provide results that are widely accepted by insurance professionals and courts alike.My passion for valuing vehicles began in my teens. My father was a race car driver who later flipped cars, and by the age of 13, I could tell the value of almost any vehicle at an auction. I began studying real property valuation during my college years, passing the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers exam in 1987, and earning a B.A. in Insurance and Real Estate from Morehouse College in 1988. With over 28 years of experience in insurance claims, I started as an auto claims adjuster for USAgencies in 1996 and rose to become a Litigation Specialist, leading litigation strategies and overseeing insurance defense attorneys.I am an IACP Certified Auto Appraiser, and often referred to as “Mr. Diminished Value” by local auto sales managers and body shops. My extensive knowledge and experience in diminished value claims allow me to provide thorough evaluations tailored to the specific details of each case.My mission is to empower vehicle owners to reclaim their lost value after an accident by providing prompt and reliable diminished value appraisals.
