Key duties included managing day to day operations, supervising administrative staff, determining site location for new centers, lease negotiation with building landlords, and closing centers that had completed their life cycle.The Professional Liability, or Errors and Omissions, program covered ~2500 agents and their staff for claims resulting from an insurance loss that was not paid as the insured expected. Not all of these claims were payable losses under the policy. My responsibilities included-Investigating the claim by interviewing the consumer, agent & staff, and reviewing all pertinent documentation. Averaged 250-300 claims/year investigated.Presenting the claim and leading the discussion with an internal resolution committee.Coordinating claims resolution, either settlement or denial, with the Professional liability carrier, the insured, and the agent involved.
