SQL Programmer/Support Analyst role assisting the Business Database Analyst during a large data migration project for Dell's Learning Management System (Saba Cloud). Main duties included;-Write, update and maintain SQL scripts to query data in Oracle environment, providing quality assurance of data extracted and support to end users when data validity was queried. -Generation of reports in Saba Cloud LMS for client queries. -Identification & validation of data sources in Saba 5.5/6.1, Tableau and Thingworx to assist with migration to Saba Cloud. -Creation of Dashboards for weekly client reporting. -Create, update and maintain delimited excel files when bulk updating clients systems.

The Market Rates Unit is an independent Risk Middle Office team which sources, verifies, publishes and stores over 600,000 market rates daily. These data inputs are critical for Risk Measurement, End of Day P&L and Collateral, and reporting across the entire CBA group. My role involved market data analysis, configuration, collection and validation of EOD rates from numerous external data providers. Most recently the team has implemented the GoldenSource Market Data Management solution- a 3rd party data management system to meet FRTB regulatory guidelines. My responsibilities included;Data Management and Governance;-Data Management within an Oracle database which entailed sourcing & validating rates from numerous external data providers including Reuters, Bloomberg, IDC, SuperDerivatives, MarkIt Partners etc. -Distribution of time critical, verified market data to downstream trading and accounting systems (Murex, WallStreet, SAP etc) tailored as per their specific requirements. -Management and enhancement of Front Office, Market Risk and Quants spreadsheet processes used to circumvent various data collection issues. -Continued monitoring and updating of the Market Rates database. Investigations -Market Data analysis of rates exceptions and unusual movements.-Root cause investigations into technical issues between many connecting systems. -Frequent interaction with traders, data vendors, technical support, and external/internal audit teams. Reporting & Controls -Production of daily reports for rates tolerance breaches, flat rates, audit controls, critical rates and specific risk. -Identification and remediation of risk issues.-Reporting of proxied market data for review by APRA (regulator) in relation to FRTB. Change Management -Continuous development of the legacy RCVA system until its replacement with GoldenSource. -Upgrade of data vendor platform. (Reuters Elektron)-Technology uplift to GoldenSource EDM.6
