• Intake defendants disposed for a one-year filing by the Second and Third District Court of Rhode Island.• Refer defendants to counseling programs, such as Mental Health Counseling, Alcohol/ Substance Abuse Counseling, and Domestic Violence Counseling.• Monitor progress of defendant in counseling, ensure completion of community service and payment toward restitution.• Provide support for victims of crimes (i.e., determine restitution, provide progress reports on defendants, and refer to programs if needed). • Maintain relationships with clinical and program staff of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Treatment Facilities around the State of Rhode Island.
