Advanced Analytics R&D Senior Manager for JMP Life Sciences software products: JMP Genomics and JMP Clinical. I manage and lead the statistical and software development teams for the JMP Life Sciences products at SAS Institute Incorporated. In my role, I develop and maintain statistical analysis routines for JMP Clinical and JMP Genomics in addition to my management responsibilities where I comprehensively manage the feature development, software release cycles and development team responsibilities for both products. I work closely with several teams involved in the software development process including the testing, release engineering, technical support, marketing and web, and the sales teams. I provide customer-facing advanced support and guidance for academic researchers, commercial/pharmaceutical companies, and regulatory agencies. I regularly attend scientific meetings to both represent our products and present current research. JMP Clinical provides easy-to-use interactive metadata-driven reviews for clinical trials safety reporting and biometric analysis, medical monitoring and writing, central statistical monitoring, and data quality and fraud detection. The solution is built on SAS analytics and the dynamic JMP graphical interface and leverages international CDISC data standards for all analyses and reports. JMP Genomics provides an end-to-end statistical analysis platform for Omics data; including molecular markers, microarray expression, Next-generation sequencing data as well as metabolomic and proteomic data. Focus areas include GWAS/Pharmacogenetics, normalization and advanced modeling for RNA-Seq, genomic selection and breeding analysis for plant research, and sophisticated predictive modeling and biomarker pattern discovery and subgroup routines.
