I am a UMBC graduate as of May 2023. I graduated with a 3.779 GPA and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and a Minor in Economics. I have gained the skills and knowledge of Calculus, Statistics/Probability, Excel, and the Theories and Principles of Economics while collaborating with a team on multiple group projects and three individual projects. During my time at UMBC I found my passion for drawing statistically significant conclusions based on a given set of data. I worked with SAS, Stata, and R to do so across four different final projects and many other homework. My favorite project was in Biostatistics when I utilized SAS to make survival curves, regression analysis, and pairwise comparisons based on a set of real world cancer data. I was able to conclude which individual factors contribute most to one's survival time with cancer. I work part time during the summer and so far have learned how to work a lot better with a team and individually on things. While working at BurgerFi I learned how manage my time and stress in a fast paced and sometimes understaffed environment. I was tasked with multiple things all at once but learned properly how to manage them via communication with the full team of workers. I've also learned how to properly handle and manage cash and inventory during my time with Staples, Michaels, and BurgerFi.
