I have been in the medical device space for 20+ years. My titles can get a bit long, but the key thing to remember is that my primary focus is negotiation and oversight of complex, large-scale contracts as high as 9-figures. Equally important is driving sales operations support and strategic accounts, inspiring my teams to successful outcomes. At one point in time or another, customer service and inventory have also been part of my responsibilities.For the last 10 years, I have been with a Fortune 500 company and advanced to VP. My team and I have made great strides, with the value of our contract portfolio growing 6-fold. We have invested time to better understand what is most important to our customers and it has yielded great returns. We have also dug deep and stayed motivated during multiple acquisitions to achieve our goals. Senior leadership has continually turned to me to take on additional responsibilities and to turn around various key functions, which I have accomplished. Internally, relationships are critical, particularly with the sales organization, as we are there to support them and we take that role seriously. We must be doing something right, as the sales team bestowed us with 2 top awards in 2018 and 2019. I also am highly involved in cross-division exchanges to strategize and help open doors to new opportunities. And then there is my team, a team that was built from the ground up, and I couldn’t be prouder of their performance, their team spirit, and their intense commitment.
