Maliheh Free Clinic is a health care facility in Salt Lake City that provides high quality medical care to those who do not have health insurance. I volunteered as a patient tech, rooming patients, taking chief complaints and vitals prior to their doctor visit.

I performed data collection for orthopedic/clinical based studies. I assisted the graduate students in Sport Medicine with their Masters research projects, and I taught undergraduates in Athletic Training how to use the research lab and helped them execute their own research goals.

I spent one year with Women's Soccer acting as the primary athletic trainer for the team, and I spent one year with Football as one of four athletic trainers providing care for the athletes. My experience as a GA was invaluable, as I was able to advance my academic knowledge in the classroom while applying these skills in the clinic.
