As the Director of Special Events for the University of Saint Joseph, I lead the planning of a wide array of events for the organization, including the annual gala fundraiser and commencement. Here is a brief look at the events I planned under my tenure with the university.University of Saint Joseph’s “IMAGINE … The Sky’s the Limit” Gala•The University’s annual gala fundraiser draws around 450 attendees and raises money for student scholarships. The event focuses on honoring three beloved faculty and a person who has inspired the greater Hartford, CT community. The gala includes a silent auction and live music.Commencement•Sitting on a beautiful 90-acre campus in West Hartford, CT, the University of Saint Joseph confers degrees to both Undergraduate and Graduate students. Commencement captures this milestone for over 600 students. The event also honors three honorary degree recipients, including the Commencement speaker.
